Tarsila Voltolini

I’m Tarsila Voltolini, a Brazilian artist now based in Melbourne, Australia.

My love of art began early, inspired by my mother, a visual artist who taught art in schools for many years. Growing up surrounded by her creativity encouraged me to explore my own artistic journey.

I was also named after the celebrated Brazilian artist Tarsila do Amaral, which gives my connection to art an even more special meaning.

I find inspiration everywhere—in animals, nature, flowers, colors, textures, everyday moments, and beautiful images that capture my attention. I work primarily with acrylic on canvas, often adding texture and experimenting with different techniques.

Each piece is my own interpretation of something that inspires me, transformed through color, texture, and my personal touch.

For me, art is about seeing inspiration everywhere and turning it into something unique and meaningful.
